    When to sow

    • Spring: March to May
    • Autumn: September to October

    How to sow

    • Choose a sunny location.
    • Remove weeds and rake the soil to create a fine, loose surface.
    • Scatter the seeds evenly over the soil.
    • Lightly rake or press the seeds into the soil. Do not bury them deeply—most wildflower seeds need light to germinate.
    • Water gently after sowing.
    • Keep the soil moist until seedlings are established.

    After germination

    • Most seeds germinate within 2–6 weeks, depending on the species and weather.
    • Water during prolonged dry periods during the first few months.
    • Remove aggressive weeds if necessary.
    • Once established, wildflowers generally require little maintenance.
